The Tahitian pearl is mounted on high-quality, durable black Australian leather. If you would like a different leather color, please write to me.
The clasp is made in the neck thanks to a red glass Padre Bead from Ethiopia, West Africa.
Originally European, these beads were exported by Spanish missionary monks to the African continent. Priests used them as currency in Africa in the late 1800s and early 20th century, hence their name "Padre Beads." Approximately 8-9 mm in diameter.

This jewel is entirely handmade: rolling the leather, drilling the pearls, nautical knots.
Each pearl is unique, the pearl that will be sent to you will not be the same as the one in the photos but I guarantee you a selection of pearls similar in color, size and quality to the one you see. All my Tahitian pearls are sent with a certificate of authenticity.
