To avoid damaging your natural pearls, be careful not to put perfume on them.
To keep the leather looking beautiful over time, and although it will acquire a lovely patina as you wear it, I advise you to grease it from time to time with beeswax.

* A pearl's orient is the way the prism of natural light breaks down deep within a pearl's aragonite layers. This iridescence gives the pearl all the
brilliance which will be enhanced by reflections of colors which range from white to black in shades of cream, pink, blue, peacock green, purple and gold.

**A pearl's luster is a measure of the amount and quality of light reflected from the surface of a pearl or just below its surface. The luster of a good quality pearl is crisp and bright. You should almost be able to see your reflection in a pearl's surface. A pearl that appears too white, dull, or chalky is of low quality.
